Rapper and actor Sjava from South Africa seems to have piqued the interest of his countryman, Hungani Ndlovu, after disclosing his income from two television shows in which he starred. “Shaka iLembe” and “Zone 14.”
The boss of 1020 Cartel was asked by a fan how much he was paid for his role in “Zone 14,” and he replied that each episode paid him R10,000. It’s interesting to note that he was questioned in a similar vein by another fan who was interested in his earnings from a different series.
The fan was curious about Sjava’s salary for his part in “Shaka iLembe.” Sjava quickly responded, stating that he received R70,000 every episode for the entire series. Hungani, an actor himself, was interested by this finding and wanted to know how it was accomplished.
In Hungani’s years in the film industry, that was the first time he had heard of an actor getting paid by the episode. Another X user responded to his remark by pointing out that the amount Sjava claimed as his wages was irrational. The discussion can be followed below.
And how much for Shaka?
