It appears that Ice Spice will have a busy weekend. She will serve as the musical guest to open Saturday Night Live’s 49th season on October 14. But first, the New York rapper will finally release some brand-new music. She tweeted last night to share the news of her new single, “Pretty Girl.”
Rema, an afro-fusion hitmaker whose track “Calm Down” and its remix with Selena Gomez have proven to be successful in the pop world, is featured on “Pretty Girl.”

Ice and Taylor Swift collaborated on a remix of “Karma” from Swift’s 10th studio album Midnights earlier this year. Additionally, she collaborated with Nicki Minaj on “Barbie World” from Barbie and a remix of “Princess Diana” from Ice’s debut EP, Like…?
She teamed up with Dunkin’ in September to produce the Ice Spice Munchkins Drink, a delectable concoction that combines iced coffee latte with Dunkin’s Munchkin doughnut holes.
Ice told Variety that the previous year has been a tremendous one and that she has no plans to slow down any time soon.
“The truth is, I’m everywhere,” Ice said. “I’m constantly moving, I’m always moving because people are starting to notice me a lot, and things get weird and creepy really quickly. But I mostly be staying in hotel rooms; that’s really where I live” Ice explained.
