With the debut of “Spotify Wrapped,” musicians everywhere are aware of how well or poorly their streaming performances performed. These figures are noteworthy since they show the frequency and geographical locations from which a musician’s music is streamed.
“Spotify Wrapped” does not exclude South Africa. Not all of the nation’s musicians have their numbers, but many do. Makhadzi is one of them. The hitmaker of “Ghanama” The singer is at the top of the list because of her stellar year.
Indeed, she has surpassed artists like Nasty C and Cassper Nyovest to become the most streamed South African singer on Spotify.
With 23 million streams, 1.5 million listeners, 1.5 million hours, and 183 countries, Makhadzi’s statistics are really astounding. In addition to not being a hip-hop musician, Makhadzi is not a rapper. Her proficiency with the English language is quite limited. This ultimately didn’t matter, though, because she outperformed everyone to take the top spot in streaming.
Sensing the importance of the victory, she quickly posted on Instagram, sharing the numbers and rejoicing in the victory, as you can see below.
Of course, her admirers congratulated her and wished her many victories in the comment area.
