Boney M. – Jingle Bells
Boney M. – Jingle Bells

One of the most popular and frequently performed American songs worldwide is “Jingle Bells.” James Lord Pierpont (1822–1893) wrote it, and it was released as “One Horse Open Sleigh” in the fall of 1857.

Although it has been stated that it was originally written for a Sunday school choir, historians contend that at the time of its composition, the song was far too “racy” (and secular) to be performed by a children’s church choir.

Taking after already discharged tracks, the well-enchanted tune is the foremost later entry this year.

Beside that, this unused, exceptional composition will unquestionably be worth a spot in your music collection if you cherish quality music.

LYRICS
[Verse 1]
Dashing through the snow
On a one horse open sleigh
O’er the fields we go,
Laughing all the way
Bells on bob tail ring,
making spirits bright
What fun it is to laugh and sing
A sleighing song tonight

Oh, jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh

Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh

[Verse 2]
Now the ground is white
Go it while you’re young
Take the girls tonight
And sing this sleighing song
Just get a bob tailed bay
two-forty as his speed
Hitch him to an open sleigh
And crack! you’ll take the lead

Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells,
Jingle all the way!
Oh, What fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh.

Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells,
Jingle all the way!
Oh, What fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh.

Oh, What fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh.
