In response to threats to denounce the reality show to the Broadcasting Complaints Commission of South Africa (BCCSA), Big Brother Mzansi has now released an update.

The video clip that sparked the threats showed some male roommates talking about schemes to seduce inebriated women and have sex with them on the set.

The creators of the show were criticized by many South Africans who considered that segment of the show offensive and pointed out how the participants’ behavior seemed to condone sexual exploitation and violence.

As the show’s producers immediately acknowledged in a post the public’s objections, it appears that they were willing to hear what the people had to say. In addition, they mentioned that the matter is being looked into.

We agreed to provide you with an update as soon as possible. It’s unknown when that update will be released. However, such a statement indicated the producers’ willingness to address the issue, at least to the majority of listeners. Check out the post that’s below.

If the buzz surrounding the show is any indication, fans of the most recent season are already enjoying their rand’s worth of amusement, just a week after it debuted.
