South African artist Vusi Nova recently experienced a bittersweet experience as he celebrated one of his friends while mourning another.
Vusi Nova, like many other South Africans, was devastated by Zahara’s untimely death on December 11. She had been brought to the hospital, apparently due to liver problems. Unfortunately, he did not survive. At the hospital, she died.
Somizi was one of those who lamented the singer’s death. He apologized for making fun of her in the past while also offering lessons from her death that relate to life. He had a party that was most likely planned before Zahara became ill and died.
The party continued, with Vusi Nova among the entertainers. Vusi couldn’t help but reflect on the week’s contradictory emotions: he was mourning one friend whom he would rather call a sister, while also celebrating a close buddy who had previously been mistaken for his gay boyfriend.
