Family Shares More Details On Zahara’s Memorial & Funeral Services

Details about the tribute and funeral for the late South African singer Zahara have been disclosed by her family amidst the controversy surrounding the circumstances surrounding her death.

Zahara passed away on December 11 at the hospital. The family merely said in a statement that she was taken to the hospital after complaining of physical problems, failing to provide further details about the nature of the medical emergency that had sent her there.

Nonetheless, the general consensus among the public was that she had liver failure, which was likely brought on by overindulgence in alcohol. At the time of her death, it was said that she would require a liver transplant.

Nevertheless, her family confirmed that her funeral would take place at the East London International Convention Centre today, Friday, December 22, in a post on her official X account. Her funeral is scheduled for Saturday, December 23, one day later, in her hometown of East London, South Africa. Check out the post that’s below.

The music business was shocked by Zahara’s passing, as they had also lost Mampintsha at the same time last year. Her contribution to the music scene in her native country and throughout South Africa will be greatly missed.
