Well-known Mzansi musician, Khanyisa has responded to Alicia Keys’ endorsement of her.

You never know who is looking at you or what they are thinking about you. Since a few years ago, African performers from all over the continent have captured the interest of audiences worldwide.

A number of musicians have been dominating the worldwide arena, including South African talents Uncle Waffles, Kabza De Small, Tyler ICU, and most recently, Tyla, as well as Nigerian sensations Wizkid, Burna Boy, Tems, Ckay, and Rema.

Khanyisa was overcome with pleasure when she drew the attention of legendary American R&B singer Alicia Keys. The “Ngimoja” actress posted a video of herself performing the 2010 hit song Un-Thinkable (I’m Ready) in Xhosa, and Keys responded.

A year later,” Khanyisa captioned Alicia’s response to her post. Sincerely, this is the best birthday present ever, sana. It also demonstrates “Putting yourself out THERE! Nobody will ever tell whether they are watching. This video is extremely strange to watch! I’m @aliciakeys, Enkosi.

Alicia Keys and her husband, producer Swizz Beatz, are well renowned for their worldwide support of African artists. Swizz asserted in April that Alicia and him had introduced Burna Boy and Wizkid to American listeners. A few months ago, Black Coffee also performed at Swizz’s birthday celebration.
