Mzansi Roasts Uncle Waffles Following ‘Water’ Challenge Video with Tyla

In the wake of a dancing challenge video featuring Tyla, Mzansi makes fun of Piano princess Uncle Waffles.

We must admit that it makes us happy when our favorite teams succeed. Since last year, Uncle Waffles has been doing the best on the scene. She has a full schedule of international performances after her songs took over social media.

Recently, Tyla and Uncle Waffles collaborated and completed the trending Water Challenge together. Netizens could not control their excitement when they released a video of them performing the Barcardi dance together. For a while now, the “Water” challenge has dominated TikTok.

While viewers loved the video, several pointed out that Uncle Waffles wasn’t dancing properly. She put her own spin on it as well, and they made fun of her for it. As @SihleStan231 put it, “Idk, but Uncle Waffles seems very ghetto compared to sweet, sweet Tyla.” This is mid, said @Shonny_SA in response. The Kasi ladies may easily body them.

More than 448 million videos of the dance have been uploaded to the website. By placing “Water” at number 67 on the Billboard Hot 100 Songs chart, Tyla also made her chart debut. Additionally, the song reached the top 10 on the official UK singles list.
