Prayers Up For, Gospel Star Kenny Makweng, Down With Stroke

It is too early in the year for anyone to be dealing with significant health issues. However, as is frequently said, life happens, and people have to deal with the fact that they are powerless over many things.

This is the current reality for South African gospel musician Kenny Makweng. He is reportedly in the intensive care unit and not improving with medication.

According to several accounts, the gospel star suffered a stroke last week as a result of brain issues. After being taken to the hospital quickly, he has been receiving care ever since.

Tragically, the most recent information regarding his condition indicates that he is not responding to medication. As a result, several people had asked their fellow South Africans to keep him in their prayers for a speedy recovery.

Other musicians, Eugene Mthethwa and the EFF MP, have also asked for prayers for him. Check out the post that follows.

Prayers and well-wishes for the sick singer have been flooding in ever since. I hope he recovers completely and spares the music industry from having to deal with yet another round of grief. The shock of Zahara’s death has not yet left the same industry.
